ExoSynk

Content Policy

Effective 2026-04-26 · ExoSynk Beta

This policy applies to everything published on ExoSynk — labs, 3D models, tutorials, Signal posts, comments, messages, user profiles, and ads.

Universal rules

  1. Don't publish content that violates the law in India or in the country you're posting from.
  2. Don't infringe someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights. Fork responsibly, credit upstream creators, and pay for paid modules.
  3. Don't harass, dox, or target-attack anyone.
  4. Don't post CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content sexualizing minors. This is instant permanent ban + law-enforcement referral.
  5. Don't publish spam, mass-posting, or scam schemes.

Strictly not allowed on ExoSynk (banned categories)

These categories are prohibited in all content on the platform, including ads, Store listings, tutorials, and posts:

  • Pornographic, sexual, or sexually suggestive content
  • Gambling, betting, casinos, lottery, fantasy-money games
  • Illegal goods or services in any jurisdiction ExoSynk operates in
  • Weapons (firearms, ammunition, explosives, tactical gear)
  • Tobacco, vaping, recreational drugs
  • Prescription pharmaceuticals
  • Hate speech, racism, harassment, targeted abuse
  • Self-harm, suicide promotion, eating-disorder content
  • Misinformation / medical misinformation
  • Financial scams: crypto pump-and-dumps, Ponzi schemes, fake investment returns
  • Political party campaigning (non-political civic info is OK)
  • Content directed at children under 13
  • Counterfeit goods, piracy, cracked software

Ads (specific rules)

  • Only verified business accounts may run ads.
  • Every ad is human-reviewed before going live.
  • Ad copy and destination URLs must be accurate — no bait-and-switch.
  • Pharmaceutical, cryptocurrency, and financial-services ads are allowed only for regulated entities that can show a license on request.
  • Political ads (parties, candidates, referendums) are not allowed. Civic-information ads from government bodies are OK on a case-by-case basis.

Paid content (Store + Tutorials)

  • Don't sell content you don't have the rights to. Re-uploads of other creators' work = takedown + strike.
  • Describe your listing accurately. Buyers can request refunds for materially misdescribed items within 24 hours.
  • Paid modules used as submodules in free labs are entitlement-gated — forks without purchase strip the paid parts. Don't try to route around this.
  • Three-strike system: 1 confirmed copy = warning + removal; 3 in 90 days = account suspension.

Automated checks

We fingerprint paid listings on publish and auto-flag near-duplicates (85% token overlap) for human review. The threshold is deliberately high — honest remixes don't trip it, verbatim re-uploads do. Flags go into an admin queue; no automated bans.

Reporting content

Every surface (lab, tutorial, Store listing, post, comment, user profile) has a Report button. Choose a reason, optionally add detail, submit. Reports land in our admin queue; usual turnaround is 24 hours, faster for safety-critical issues.

What happens when we enforce

  • Warning — email explaining what broke, content removed, no account impact. First-time low-severity usually lands here.
  • Temporary suspension — account locked for a set period (typically 7 or 30 days). Coin balance is frozen but not lost; subscriptions pause.
  • Permanent ban — repeated violations, severe violations (CSAM, targeted hate, fraud at scale). Coin balance may be withheld pending legal review if there's evidence of fraudulent activity.

Appeals

If you think enforcement was wrong, email appeals@exosynk.com within 14 days with your username and what happened. A different admin than the one who enforced reviews it.
